This photo was taken near a Wankie, Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) roadside where a Marburg vector investigation took place in 1975.

Shown here in white, P. Geldenhuys is trapping small mammals for blood studies during a the Rhodesian Marburg investigation following the outbreak of 1975. The vector involved in this outbreak was never discovered.
