Lewis & Browne lithograph showing Henry Hudson's crew abandoning him in Hudson's Bay the 11th of June, 1610. Most of his crew wanted to head home. Since Henry did not want to abandon his plans, they put Hudson, his teenage son John, and seven crewmen that sided with Hudson in a small open boat and set them adrift without food. The people on the open boat were never seen again.
