Royalty-free black and white holiday stock photo of a group of children, Thanksgiving Maskers, in costumes, between 1910 and 1915. Thanksgiving maskers were men that used to dress up in costumes and knock on the doors of the rich and beg for food or money on holidays such as Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Eventually this was outlawed, however some children still dressed up and went out to beg. This eventually died out as Thanksgiving became a national holiday.
