Description:
In the mountain village of Guadalest there is a group of wild cats that live in and around the main square. They are fed and looked after by the residents with tit bits from the tourists topping up their diet. Each cat is sterilized and at that time they have a small corner of an ear clipped to show that they have been treated. You can`t handle the cats because they are still wild and very wary, however they will come close and in cat terms beg for handouts. They are unique, clean, well looked after and an added attraction that pulls in more visitors as a result.
