Taken from the steps of the Ospedale degli Innocenti, this photo shows the Loggia dei Servi di Maria, which was originally built for a mendicant order but is now a hotel. On the left is an equestrian statue of Ferdinand I of Tuscany, which was started by Giambologna and completed by Pietro Tacca. Also by Tacca are the two bronze fountains in late Mannerist style. Photographed 15th October 2005.
