Stock Photo Description: On the Norfolk Broads there has to be some control over water levels. Today these levels are managed by mechanical pumps and locks. In the past the pumping was carried out by harnessing the wind to drive the many pumps. Although these pumps are redundant quite a number have been preserved for future generations to enjoy.
