Image of wreckage from the great railroad wreck on the T. P. & W.R.R. near Chatsworth, Illinois, August 10th 1887. This specific shot shows the sleeper "Tunis," the height and width of the culvert 5 1/2 by 8 feet, the cause of the wreck, and seventeen pairs of trucks in one pile.
